great location, convenient for exploring the city. Afternoon/evening receptionist was fabulous and made our stay pleasant. Check-in process was smooth and easy.
Breakfast not worthy, had to go to a different place for it.

The location was great! Convenient to free parking (if willing to walk a little ways) and Zamora Street - the main walkway. The afternoon/evening receptionist was fabulous and did all she could to help make our stay pleasant.
When we arrived the a/c in our room did not work. The receptionist worked hard to fix the situation, however, when she contacted the owner his response was to just keep waiting and seeing. He did not seem concerned or bothered by the fact that we paid for a room with a/c and instead had a room that was 80+ degrees. Somewhere in the middle of the night it did finally begin to work.

I recently stayed at Hostal Santel for 5 nights while exploring the city. The location was perfect, right in the center, with easy access to free parking and the main walkway. The furniture, all new, was beautifully decorated with pleasant colors. The huge windows let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Salamanca. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to show us motorcycle-only parking and guide us to a nearby cafe for breakfast. The room was clean and had a fantastic power shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The location was perfect, with easy access to the main square and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Salamanca.

Great location, just a short walk from the city center and convenient to free parking. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay pleasant. The room was clean and well-decorated, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. It was a bonus to have 3 beds in the room, providing extra space for our belongings. a fantastic find for our last-minute reservation.
We had some issues with the AC in our room when we first arrived, but the receptionist was quick to address the problem. It took some time for the AC to start working, so the room got quite hot initially.

The room was clean and had three single beds - air conditioning - a fridge, and a large bathroom. The location was amazing - right in the center of town overlooking San Marcos Plaza. It was just a short walk to the Plaza Mayor and other tourist sites. The staff were super helpful and friendly.
Couldn't recommend more.

I stayed at a well-located hotel, right in the heart of the city. It was just down the main shopping street, making it convenient for exploring. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The location also provided easy access to the city center, allowing me to explore the town easily.
The WiFi was quite slow, which was a bit inconvenient.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped me find parking at my first visit. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, TV, lift, and express check-in/out. I always come back for my city trips.

I was pleasantly surprised by the charming decoration at the hotel, with beautiful paintings and antique furniture that added a touch of elegance to the common areas. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was impressive, as they had ramps and handrails in all the right places, making it easy for me to navigate around the hotel without any difficulties. The staff, with their kind and helpful demeanor, made me feel like a cherished guest throughout my stay.
I would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail from the children working there when it came to ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment for senior guests. Although the hotel itself was quiet, certain noise disturbances from neighboring rooms, such as flushing toilets and loud conversations, disrupted the tranquility I was looking for during my vacation.

The triple room at Hostal Santel San Marcos is perfect for families or colleagues. It's a great alternative to traditional accommodation. The air-conditioned rooms with wooden floors are really nice. I loved the cozy and homely feel they provided. All the rooms have a private bathroom, heating/air conditioning, plasma TV, and free Wi-Fi. It's everything you need for a comfortable stay. I stayed in one of the modern and practical rooms, and it was fantastic. The design was sleek, and the amenities were top-notch. There's free Wi-Fi in all the guestrooms, which was awesome. I didn't have to worry about using data while I was there. The double room was perfect for me and my partner. It had everything we needed for a cozy and enjoyable stay. The guest rooms offered a lot of comfort and convenience in a relaxed setting. It made our stay really enjoyable.
Personally, I didn't like that the rooms didn't have a mini-fridge. It would have been nice to have that option.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
